This is a Swedish folksong from 1660. Composed by the priest (Andreas Wallenius 1615-1663) in the far north of Sweden called Dalarna. A beautiful, vast area with huge forests. I can't imagine how it was to live there in the 16th century...

This is a piece I found in a Bulgarion book I bought in 1970 by Russian composer Alexander Mikhailovich Ivanov-Kramskoy (1912-1973). I think the title is "Study 1". (I don't read Bulgarian/Russian). I made som minor editing/changes and new fingerings. In standard tuning and in D-Major.
